Superfish

Absolutely delicious fish and chips! The batter was perfectly crisp, the fish fresh and flaky, and the chips were spot on—not greasy at all. Friendly, fast service and good portion sizes. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the place was clean and tidy. Price was reasonable too. We'll be back for sure!

Absolutely the best fish and chips in town! The fish was fresh and flaky with the perfect crispy batter, and the chips were golden, hot, and fluffy inside. Service was quick and super friendly, even during busy hours. You can really tell they care about quality and consistency here. I’ve tried other places in Workington, but this one stands out every time. Whether you're grabbing a quick takeaway or sitting in for a meal, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended!

Best cooked Haddock,light & crispy battery with tasty fresh fish on inside. This is a must buy if you call in.Pies were good along with the chunky chips. Staff polite & friendly. Waiting time was no more than ten minutes as your Haddock is done to order. Great fair prices.A real treat to find this place

I always phone my orders in especially on a Friday night, the staff are very friendly always smiling no matter how busy they are, the super fish and chips are excellent the best in Cumbria xx

I did some research on where to get decent food before my recent trip to Workington for the event of the The Ballad of Lucy Sands premieres ( I’m one of the lead actors ). Superfish was recommended so I tried them out. I’d come up from Cornwall for the event with my son and daughter and we were really looking forward to something to eat. I have to say I am very fussy with fish and chips, I certainly don’t have a decent one in my town. The reason I’m so fussy is because I used to run a chippy on a holiday park so I know what standard this meal should have ( which, sadly , are standards very few meet!) I have to say, the food was absolutely phenomenal- cooked to perfection and both my son and daughter enjoyed theirs as much as I did. Son- Battered sausage and chips, daughter- veggie burger and chips ( with shake ), myself- fish and chips ( with shake and vac )… “Shake and Vac”=Salt and vinegar ( which made the ladies serving laugh! No better testament to the absolute quality of this food can be stated than to tell you we went back for another meal a couple of evenings later. ( before I went and had a cry at Lucy’s grave !) Just absolutely stunning food. Thank you so much!
